As a Career Coach and Trainer, my goal is to help you determine where you are in the career planning process so that you receive individualized service that targets your needs. In my workshops, my goal is to make sure you understand the material so that you can apply what you've learned to real life, outside of the workshop/classroom. We will work as a team to move you forward, to motivate you, while combining my guidance and expertise with yours.
With 12+ years of experience, I've worked with so many different people: college students, military personnel, job seekers & career-changers of all ages. I hope that you will choose to work with me as you take your steps to career success. I've worked in several non-profit agencies, at a One-Stop Career Center, at a Community College, and at a 4-year state college.
Some of the job titles I've held include:
- Adjunct College Instructor
- GED Instructor
- Microsoft Computer-skills Trainer
- Job Search Trainer
- Career Counselor
- Coordinator of Career Services
My strengths are my passion for what I do, my computer knowledge (for formatting those resumes and applying to jobs!), and my desire to help people.
My best advice?
Focus on your skills and market those skills every chance you get-- when networking with others, on Facebook and LinkedIn profiles, on your resume, cover letter, application, and during interviews. Believe in yourself and what you can do!
